The death toll caused by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines rose to 3,637 people. Thousands of lives floated after the strongest storm of the year hit the central part of the country on Friday (8/11), said a senior government official Saturday night.
Eduardo del Rosario, Executive Director Of the national disaster risk reduction and management (NDRRMC) said in its latest disaster reports that the number of injured people also rose to 1.186 12.501, while other people are still missing.
According to the report, from 9.8 million people who became victims, more than three million displaced. They are served in more than 1000 unit evacuation centers both inside or outside.
